Afraah Goshu

We’re thrilled to introduce Afraah Goshu, our talented intern for the summer of 2023! Afraah joins us as part of the Leading EDGE Internship Program by The Nonprofit Alliance. With her enthusiasm to learn about fundraising and her pursuit of an Information Studies degree from the University of Maryland, we’re confident Afraah will make a significant impact during her time here.

Afraah is eager to develop her knowledge of fundraising and strengthen her business skills, learning from the diverse professionals at The PMG Family. She’s excited to delve into direct mail production, postal logistics to save on postage, the role of data in fundraising, and the best strategies for cultivating online donors.

Outside of work and studies, Afraah indulges in her passion for photography. Her stunning portfolio reflects her love for capturing moments and telling stories through her lens. She dreams of traveling to Hawaii one day to capture the breathtaking beauty of the islands, combining her love for photography and travel into an unforgettable experience.

Oh, and did we mention her love for coffee? The aroma of a freshly brewed cup fuels her productivity and keeps her company throughout her busy day. As part of The PMG Family, she can rest assured that her love for coffee will be shared and appreciated by fellow coffee enthusiasts.

As Afraah begins her internship journey, we’re excited to share our expertise in four specialties with her. We look forward to witnessing her personal and professional growth during her time with us.
