Each year the Direct Marketing Association of Washington holds its Best of Direct event honoring individuals and companies who’ve had a positive impact on the direct marketing community.

In 2017, two members of our PMG family were honored in three different ways.

Rick Powell, our fearless founder and CEO, was honored with the DMAW Educational Foundation Kay Lautman Mentorship Award for his work with future direct response professionals by participating in Mentor for a Day and hiring college interns and recent graduates.

In addition to that honor, the DMAWEF created the Rick Powell/PMG Annual Prize for Collegiate MAXI Winners which will provide professional career counseling and job search advice each year for the winners of the Collegiate MAXI competition.

Elise Buck named DMAW’s Volunteer of the Year for 2017

Elise Buck, the Client Services Manager at MailSmart Logistics, received the DMAW Volunteer of the Year award – the second time she has won this award! Here at PMG we know how hard she works for her clients as well as for the industry. You’ve no doubt seen her working behind the scenes at countless DMAW and other industry events, always with a ready smile and a helping hand.

We congratulate Rick and Elise as well as all the other honorees that help keep our direct marketing industry so vibrant and strong.

And thanks to the DMAW and DMAWEF for recognizing deserving members of our industry each year.
