Today is National Philanthropy Day which is the official one day celebration of the charitable work that people do to make a difference in their communities. Whether you’re a nonprofit organization, an agency, a business or an individual who gives their time or resources we would like to take this opportunity to salute you for all that you do to make a difference!
According to dictionary.com, philanthropy means altruistic concern for human welfare and advancement, usually manifested by donations of money, property, or work to needy persons, by endowment of institutions of learning and hospitals, and by generosity to other socially useful purposes. We have the great privilege of working with wonderful clients who are made up of hundreds of individuals that work every day as philanthropists.
Our employees are philanthropists in their own right. Here at PMG we’re currently in the middle of a Holiday Gift Drive benefiting Grassroots Crisis Intervention. This organization is located in Howard County, Maryland and provides 24 hour support and resources to individuals and families in need of immediate assistance with personal, mental health, family, or shelter crisis. Our employees will be bringing in toys, clothes, gas cards, grocery cards and more to help make the holidays a little bit better and brighter for those in need.
