USPS 2025 Promotions Details
Integrated Technology
(any 6 consecutive months)
Mailers can choose any 6 consecutive months within 2025 to claim a 3% discount
By using various technologies including a QR code, newly approved Artificial Intelligence (AI) elements (AI generated images/copy), and more, mailers can receive a discount.

- First-Class letters & flats and Marketing Mail letters & flats
- Nonprofit mailers must include a return envelope or have a mailed response acknowledgment element
Tactile, Sensory, and Interactive (TSI)
(February 1-July 31)
Mailers can utilize various print techniques to peak interest in their mail and receive a discount! From Specialty inks (metallic or scented); to sensory elements including texture, spot gloss, embossing, trailing edge envelopes, and interactive features such as 3D, scratch-off, infinite-folding, and clean release cards.

Some elements are specifically excluded and gloss stock no longer qualifies on its own in 2025.
NEW for 2025! Continuous Contact
(April 1-December 31)
*This promotion is still evolving, and we will share information as we know more about what related content will qualify.
This is a new promotion, where mailers are being incentivized to send follow-up messages to the same household address. The initial mailing does not receive a discount, however, every related follow-up mailing does.

- Eligible: Marketing Mail letters & flats
- Initial mailer sent during promotional period (NO DISCOUNT)
- Follow Up mailers:
- Content related to but not identical to initial mailing
- Iterative content with each subsequent mailing
- Mailing lists can have fewer addresses, but cannot have new addresses that were not in the original mailing
Reply Mail IMbA
(July 1-December 31)
*Not eligible for add-ons
By enrolling and participating in IMbA, the USPS automated accounting system for return mail processing, you can receive a discount on reply mail pieces received during the promotion period.

- Up to 6% discount- Serialized IMbA
- Eligible: First-Class Return Mail (QBRM level permits only)
First Class Mail Advertising
(September 1-December 31)
This promotion encourages adding marketing messages to non-traditional or transactional marketing materials such as special event invites, limited time offers etc.

- Eligible: First-Class Mail only
NEW for 2025! Add-On Promotions
NEW in 2025 will be ‘add -on’ promotions available all year for both First Class letters and flats and Marketing Mail letters and flats. However, in order to claim an add-on promotion, the mailing must first qualify for one of the 4 outgoing mail promotions above.
Reply Mail IMbA is not eligible for add-on promotions
Sustainability
Must be printed on Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) or Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) paper stocks. Other certifications also qualify and or may be considered as well.

Informed Delivery
(Note: this is no longer a standalone promotion)
Create an Informed Delivery campaign to go along with your mail piece.

While you must first qualify for one of the other primary promotions first – you CAN qualify for both add- on promotions. An example of how this would work would be: Primary Promotion: up to 3% Integrated Technology Discount + Add-on Promotion: up to 1% Informed Delivery = Total Promotion = up to 4% Discount
